As a dance grandparent, I have been to many Dance competitions over the years. This was my first time at Fly. I have to say the competition was great! My granddaughter loved it and so did I. The atmosphere was so energetic and fun. The emcee, Becky, spoke clearly and did a great job. She truly embodied the Fly theme and I loved her music. The director, Lewis, did a great job as well. He was so nice and had great interaction with the kids on stage at awards. All in all it was just a fun weekend! We will hopefully be back next year.

I have been involved in the dance competition world for over 30 years. This was my first time at Fly and could not be more pleased withthe atmosphere, staff, and fluidity of the competition. 10 stars all around and cannot wait to be back. Wendy and Victoria at the merch table were so welcoming and kind to everyone that stopped by. Small moments like asking the dancers if they are having fun and emphasizing fun over competition will always mean more than a trophy to this Dance Dad!

We just came for the dance classes. They were great. They were cut short so that’s not why no 5 stars. Wendy behind the merch desk was so helpful.

Judges were very nice and personable. The girls really enjoyed how friendly they were even off stage. We would definitely participate at Fly again.

This is our first year competing. We just got here so I’ll update my review at the end of the day. So, far things look great. I found the event and parking easily. Things seem organized and everything has been easy for us to navigate. We are very excited!

Fly dance is a well ran dance competition that attracts some of the top dance studios in the region. The day of runs smoothly and the staff create a positive and uplifting environment for all the dancers. The merch is great too!

everyone is very friendly. It’s a great location. Super clear judging scores.

My daughter did Fly Dance last year and really enjoyed it! It was well organized and ran on time. The Fly staff were enthusiastic and encouraging.

I love Fly so much! The theme of an airplane/airport is so fun and different! It’s a super motivational environment and I can’t wait to be back!

We love Fly! They are family friendly bunch and great to all ages and stages. My child loves coming from year to year and leaving having loads of fun - not to mention the great convention classes!

First year at Fly for my dancers. They loved the overall experience. Many dance styles, larger audience area and extra space to roam during down time. Convention center was conveniently located and east to get to, always a plus! Staff was also friendly.

Second year at Fly! We love this competition. Great staff and wonderful locations! We'll be back next year!

This is our third year with Fly, we attending their nationals last year. We truly enjoy the experience, our kids love it. We love how they always have a tap judge as our studio is big on tap. The judges and backstage staff are always warm and welcoming and supportive of kids of all ages

Fly is one of our favorite competitions of the year! They provide opportunities for kids to express themselves and creative ways through improv! They are always very easy to work with, and our studio has a blast when we attend fly!

Love the FLY comp. The theme is very fun and honestly the scores and judging are easy to understand because of the theming! Also the audience interaction is nice.

We had an amazing experience. The staff was excellent and accommodating, judging was solid, venue was great, sound system amazing. Every thing ran smoothly, and my dance families had an amazing time! This is the first year my children’s studio participated in this competition. I really love the venue; it is accommodating to our dancer’s needs. This is so important when they have all put in so much hard work to compete here. The Fly staff was very accommodating as well providing a diverse competition space for this 2026 Albuquerque season. I had the pleasure of meeting Samantha and Lewis who helped with registering and logistic. Very good national competition space.

This competition was so well-organized. They kept a rolling schedule and staff was so great. The director - Lewis, was so friendly and amenable to last minute changes that had to be fixed. Part of the staff- Samantha, was so kind and helpful. She was willing to go above and beyond to answer all questions we had! Thank you!

Another great experience at Fly! Something I loved is that Improv had a first, second, and third place instead of only choosing one winner like last year. Something to improve is the venue. The floor was ridiculously slippery and dirty! Dancers were falling and could’ve been hurt.

What an amazing experience with my daughter. The venue was beautiful with plenty of seating so the whole family was able to comfortably attend and sit together. Overall the team had an amazing experience and we would do it all over again in a heartbeat. 10 out of 10.

We LOVE Fly Dance Competition! Friendly staff, well organized, and a fun atmosphere and award ceremony where dancers feel celebrated!! My daughter loves improv and Flys improv competition is her favorite because they do multiple rounds with multiple song styles and allow dancers to switch lines and placements on the stage. So much fun!! We also loved that they offered convention classes and my dancer loved them!!

Absolute love fly fly is dance competitions. This is our second year energies high, and that staff's amazing.

We had such a great experience at Fly Dance Competition in Biloxi! Everything was extremely organized from the moment we arrived. It was clear where to go, the schedule ran smoothly, and the overall atmosphere felt positive and well-managed. Fly dance was very responsive to emails and outreach. Staff was friendly and communicative. Supporting independent dancers and put us at ease.

I personally LOVE Fly Dance Competition! I have been going to this Competition since their 1st season and I love seeing this Competition grow. All of the staff are super friendly and just great people!

I enjoy competing at Fly because they have tap mics and tap judges. I also love their Improv Competition and the special judges awards that they do. I love the support from the Fly staff and other dancers at their regionals and loved their Nationals in Orlando where I made so many new friends in the master classes and opening number opportunity. Looking forward to Nationals in Orlando again!!!

I had the best time at Fly Regionals in Spokane Washington.

FlyDance Nationals in Sandusky was our first national dance competition we have attended. It was so much fun. The staff is genuinely kind. The choreographers and judges actually spent time getting to know the dancers and empowering them to be great. The materclasses, the pajama party, the audition workshop, it was all amazing. We have attended FlyDance regionals for 2 years now and it’s our absolute favorite competition overall. 10 out of 10 recommend your dance studio check it out!!!!

This is our first time at Fly Nationals (we were at Fly Regionals earlier this year). The themes are super fun and the organization of how the performances are done flow nicely (especially for us first timers). It’s not an overwhelming large event compared to others we have been to which is also nice. I just wish communication would be a little more quicker with families. (Minor detail). Fun event!

Elyzabeth bad an absolute blast during regional. She got 1st place and 1st overall. They made her feel special even though she was the only one in the category. They are a pretty small comp but they are very kind to every kid.

LOVE FLY DANCE My daughter has danced at 3 regional and 2 national fly dance competitions and loved each one! Everything about this competition is top of the line, from the staff to the beautiful stage. Not to mention they have the best merchandise of any comp we have been to.
